Quail hunting with an old friend or with your newest acquaintance behind a pair of English pointers beats even the best day at the office. The goal of our wing shooting program is to provide some of the best liberated quail hunting in the state. Bobwhite quail are early-released into pine plantation habitat interspersed with corn fields and milo strips to feed and protect coveys of birds. Our guides are experienced bird dog men, the most reputable being the famous Willie Henry “Red” Cowan who began training bird dogs with his dad on quail hunting plantations of Bullock County more than 70 years ago.
